the challenge.

About a month ago I graciously celebrated my 29th Birthday all dolled up in a roaring 20's vintage ensemble.  The theme represented the beginning of the last year in my twenties.  Despite the fabulous evening surrounded by loving friends, the countdown to 30 had officially begun.  I spent my actual Birthday(Sunday following the party) reflecting on where I am in life and where I thought I would be.  Now unless this exercise is practiced with a positive mindset I DO NOT recommend it(also highly discourage if done after a night of wine drinking).  Although it pains me to admit, I found myself sulking with a hint of depression lingering with me all day.  Fortunately I got out of my funk(or wine headache) and came to the conclusion that I may not be where I thought I would be, but have made great strides and efforts to reaching that "so called" place.  I am also surrounded by fantastic friends and many unexplored adventures.  My realization is that life is not planned and welcoming the unplanned adventure/journey is the key to living life fully.  So to embrace this and put it into practice, I decided to come up with a list/challenge of 30 things to do before turning 30.  The list has been a collaborative effort and is filled with personal challenges that take me outside my comfort zone, many pleasures, things I have never done(but have always wanted too), growth, and potential life changing experiences.  So I ask you to follow me through this journey because for one you will probably be referenced, and two to hold me accountable.  My ultimate goal is personal growth and to learn to naturally live life to the fullest where I am today with the amazing people and places that surround me now

So CHEERS to the journey of life and living it to its fullest!  I look forward to embracing, celebrating, sharing, and living it with you!!

Adventure Awaits!!
